Live cell imaging is fascinating. I grew up on b&w films of mitosis, and now people can visualise events at the single protein level.

Cells are also fascinating. It pays not to think of them as wet bags of fluid: wet and dry don't seem good terms to me for things at this scale. Van der waals forces are everywhere in a cell. Polar and non polar compounds, which wraps which depending.
