I'm a little confused: I've searched the web with ChatGPT before. How is this different?


Same here. I ask it to search all of the time. I guess maybe now it is required to provide sources? It usually did before but there were times it didn't so maybe the update is that it's required to?


It's not that different, Google's Gemini already provides this functionality where they have source/links in their responses...


ChatGPT tells me it can't access the web?


That's odd. Here's an example that worked for me:
