I think it's also important on a webapp homepage a try it button (without registration). I think a lot of people want to try something before they start using it.

love the usability walkthrough's. would be nice if they showed some examples of what doesn't work too.

Speaking personally, the front page of clutterme looks good. It's the samples that put me off. :/

We were, now I guess the cat is a bit out of the bag. I've touched the samples up a bit. Hope they are a bit better.
