The legend goes that Abraham Lincoln had a terrible temper. Whenever someone upset him, he would write the fellow a nasty letter and drop it in the mail and he would feel better. Years later it was discovered that his wife would remove the letters from the mailbox and noone ever saw them.

While this post never told a lie and certainly didnt chop down any cherry trees i suspect it hurt more people than it helped.
