Most drive tests really fail to establish whether they are sustained or short tests. Lovely seeing some believable figures, where before & after the cliff are visible.
I would have guessed the Crucial's Mx500 was a decade old but it's only 5 years. Doing a respectable job at a bit over 100MBps sustained. The Kingston A400 is doing OK.
Still unknown is longevity. A drive that can last three times as long is worth a lot more to me.

100% this. I had some discussion about this with a Dutch tech website because their tests ommitted these tests. And don’t show these graphs.
