Is there any sort of lower-level logging and monitoring in MacOS that would help with diagnosing such issues? I'm spending some time on a wonky wifi network, and so far it seems that it's high time to finally read about networking internals starting with ip and wifi protos, before I can even theorize about where to look and what to fiddle.
