I came across this article after running into the same problem with my OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock and bluetooth devices. The Logitech Unifying receiver improved things but it was never fully without stutter. I now ran a USB extension cable under my desk and plugged the receiver in. Bam, issues with my MX Master Keyboard and MX Master 2 mouse fully resolved.

I have so many problems with USB 3 devices (hard to find a hub that doesn't "drop out" web cams, hard drives, and other USB 3 devices.) I can't trust anything to work reliably if I plug it into the left side of any Dell I have.

I thought it was bad cables (and other EMI shielding issues) but reading this article I know it is bad cables.
