I've never backed up any chat, I don't use WhatsApp anymore, I used to keep the photos I liked and deleted the rest. What's the point? I've never felt the need to go back and read any messages I've previously sent. I have no idea why you'd keep them. And also can you imagine if someone got hold of your life's worth of messages?

I frequently search old chats to see when something happened or get some other information I know has been talked about.
