It's always interesting and odd to me when a journalistic source doesn't actually link to what they reference about themselves, that they are sharing about in their profile; without myself spending a fair amount of time looking into it I can't find out who specifically got the award: was it him, the partner, or CNN that got the award? What was the award specifically if it was the author? With research papers we expect references to be cited, linked to - yet, journalists trying to prove their integrity make links? It's a big problem too if people just assume what text someone writes about as true, so why not make it easy for people to follow the cookie trail through links?
