Depends. If you hold crypto for more than a year in Germany, gains are tax free.

Can I share data with my partner? I’ve been looking for a way to help my partner understand where we at money-wise.

ah sorry currently there is no share data feature although I've heard this feature request from time to time, I probably should consider implementing this later. The premium membership can be shared with family members though -- one purchase for all members.

Guess I am one of the lucky 10000 today.

I dunno. There is always this one, little overweight, sweaty guy without a shirt. Makes it a little bit sexual, doesn’t it?

Also the author misses how elements, species and astronomical objects are named. After random places, people, games, fictional characters, etc.

Names are just names. It’s nice if they are kind of unique and have no collisions.

Elements are numbered, species are messy categories to begin with and too numerous, and astronomical objects do have sensible naming[1].

But to me it's still unclear what a good naming culture would look like for programmers.

We are talking Germany here. People buy cars in cash. You don’t even have to necessarily wait a day.

True, which is why I said “might”. Even in the US. I only have to call ahead if I want smaller bills - $20 and $100 they usually have plenty of unless it’s a tiny branch.

Probably „only store that’s in my vicinity“ in rural areas vs. „if that bodega sucks, I go to another“. So one is a necessity which overcharges, the other a convenience which overcharges.

Reminds me of a little tool I built to figure out if I can safely delete repos when upgrading/moving machines: https://gitlab.com/leipert-projects/git-recon

My favourite sticker is a play on „Atomkraft? Nein danke!“ [0] (nuclear power? No thanks!) and says: „Atomzeit? Nein danke!“ (Atomic time? No thanks!)

[0]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_Power%3F_No_Thanks

I would actually consider sticking the opposite "Nuclear power? Yes, please!" (Same for solar, wind, geothermal of course). Is there a sticker for pro-nuclear power movement?

P.S. There's a nice recent video to have a glimpse into nuclear power plant safety in action: https://youtu.be/v0afQ6w3Bjw

There's also one with Fernfusion (as a reference to the sun, made clear with a depiction) but I don't remember if it continues as "yes please" or "no thanks". I guess the former for solar power fans and the latter for vampires and night owls / hackers. Something for everyone ^^

I don't get it
