Impersonating someone like Lincoln in a car commercial is one thing, but it’s another is someone presented an impersonation as their actual voice in a documentary.
It’s also complicated by the fact that the AI voice is trained on his likeness and dubious as if the reproduction is a new creation or something else. Similar to the debate about GitHub Copilot.
I write video security software, and the support logic to manage a single camera is quite low. Whereas the supporting infrastructure for this conglomeration is quite large. I know this field of tech intimately, yet when I see projects like this I ask myself "what are they doing with all this infrastructure? why?"
I kind of think that is your subconscious not needing to put a bunch of effort into ‘storing’ recent meals versus prioritizing ‘memorizing’ tools you have used and how to use them.
